Directions to St. Christopher's venue from the North (via M6 and A6)
Leave the Motorway at Junction 32 and follow the signs for Preston. Keep in the left hand lane down to the roundabout.

Turn left at the roundabout and then straight on through the traffic lights.

Continue straight on through several sets of traffic lights and pelican
crossings.

After the lights with the shell garage on the corner on the right, get into
the right hand lane ready to turn right at the next lights (Follow signs for
Blackpool)

*The road you are on has two lanes for a lot of the time apart from one
bridge where it reduces to the right hand lane. When it becomes two again, keep in the left hand lane and straight on through the lights.

When you see a Total garage on the right hand side look out for the Toby Carvery coming up shortly on your left. The church hall is immediately past the pub.

Directions to St. Christopher's venue from the South (via M6)
Leave the motorway at Junction 31 and keep in the left hand lane. At the
roundabout follow the feeder lane to the left and carry on up the hill. Keep
straight on until you reach a small roundabout and take the right hand exit
(the Hesketh Arms pub should be on your left as you leave the roundabout).

Keep going straight on through the traffic lights and crossings, following
signs for Blackpool and you will come to the bridge where the two lanes
become one mentioned at "*" above.

Continue to follow the instructions as from the north.

If you are coming down the A6 you can follow the directions for the people
coming from the north once you meet the roundabout that joins with the
motorway (only go straight on rather than turn left!! Following
Preston.....)

Directions to Christ Church venue from the North
Leave the M6 at Junction 32 for the M55 & Blackpool but don’t go onto the M55.  Keep in the left hand lane down to the roundabout.  Turn first left at the roundabout and carry on through the traffic lights ahead, towards Preston (A6).

Keep going straight ahead through 2 sets of pelican crossings (with lights,) and the next proper traffic lights (Le Frog Bistro and Black Bull Pub on the right).  Still going straight on past a Texaco garage on the right, through another pelican crossing and St Pius X Prep School on the left.

The next set of traffic lights are at a crossroads (with a Shell garage on the opposite corner). Turn left.  Not far down the road you’ll see a sign on the left saying Fulwood Lawn Tennis Club. Turn right very shortly after this (the road is signposted to Christ Church) – watch out – it’s not very far after the Tennis Club.

** Not far down the side road you will come to a cross roads and the church is there on the corner.

The hall is to the right of the church, There is a small car park at the back that may take half a dozen cars but no parking on the road. (It’s very narrow and there are signs outside the houses saying “residents parking only”. To reach this car park, go straight across the junction with Victoria Road and take the first right (a bit like a back alley). The car park is a short way down. If there is nowhere to park, you can either turn round or go straight on - you will come back out onto Victoria Road further down and you can turn right, back towards the church.

There is, however, some parking on the roads round the church – with care. If you turn right at the junction and pass the church you can park at the back of the hall and there is a path down the far side to reach the door and the car park at the back.

However, please be careful where and how you park. The church has had complaints from residents about people parking in the area for other events.

Directions to Christ Church venue from the South
Leave the M6 at Junction 31 and keep in the left-hand lane which sweeps down to the roundabout and allows you to turn left without stopping - carry on up the hill.  Straight on at the top of the hill passing a cemetery on the right and a speed camera on the left.

At the approach to a small roundabout get into the right hand lane. Bear right at the roundabout with the Hesketh Arms Pub on your left.

Straight on through traffic lights - one set with Jade Garden and Done Bookmakers on left just before the lights and Preston Pet Centre on right just after. There are then car sales on either side.

Over the bridge after Focus and straight on at the traffic lights with Deepdale Centre on the right and fire station on left.

Straight on again at the next lights (Majestic Wine Warehouse on the left corner)

Ahead you will see a church tower on the right. Go through the pelican crossing and on the approach to the next lights get in the right hand lane, past the church. At the lights turn right onto Sir Tom Finney Way.

Keep in the left hand lane through one set of lights and turn left at the next with the Garrison Pub on your left (just for information, Fulwood Barracks is on your right as you turn!)

Straight on through traffic lights, with hospital on your right (with clock in tower)

Immediately after the hospital you will see a sign on a lamppost (on right side of road) pointing left to Christ Church.

Turn left here onto Albert Road then follow ** above.
