Directions from M62 East
Exit the M62 motorway at Junction 31 –
stay in the left hand lane and take the first exit which is signposted for Featherstone
and Ackton (A655). **This will lead you onto a dual carriageway
through an industrial estate. Continue straight on over the next two
roundabouts, stay in the left hand lane. At the large round about at
the top of the hill, go straight on (B6134).
Continue on this road for approx 2
miles. There is farmland on both sides, you will pass Ackton village on your
left. The road bends to the right and heads up the hill.
Just over the brow of the hill, you
will reach a roundabout go straight on (B6133). Follow the road
over the hump back bridge and to the T junction (traffic lights) at the
bottom of the hill (large factory on your left)
At these traffic lights, turn left
(A645). Follow the road past a garage on the right and then a garage on the
left on to a crossroads with traffic lights. Turn left at these lights
onto Station Lane (B6421). Take the third turning on the right onto
Albert Street, the venue is on your right hand side.
Directions from M62 West
Exit the M62 at Junction 31 - when entering the
slip road move into the right hand lane. As you approach the traffic lights at
the bottom the lane splits into two and you need to move into the left hand
lane. Follow the lane round to the right through another set of traffic
lights, then under the motorway bridge to another set of lights. Take the
first exit after going under the bridge - signposted for Featherstone and
Ackton (A655) then follow directions from ** above.
